This session skips the hype. It's designed for busy remodeling professionals who don't have time for endless theory—or for chatbots that confidently invent code requirements or construction details. The real value of AI comes from applying it to your projects, your data, and your professional judgment.

Brian Gonzalez is an applied AI and workforce strategist focused on ensuring the AI economy creates opportunity for everyone. Over a 25-year career at Intel, he held senior global leadership roles, led multinational teams, and directed education and workforce initiatives across more than 30 countries, helping expand access to technology and strengthen the connection between learning, innovation, and economic opportunity. 

Brian serves as strategic advisor to AI OWL, supporting efforts that help schools, communities, and workforce partners use AI to identify real local challenges, build practical solutions, and connect learning to broader economic opportunity. He also helped launch Jobs for the Future’s Center for AI and the Future of Work, serving as Executive in Residence and working with state leaders and workforce systems on applied AI strategies and workforce initiatives. Tuan Nguyen, Chair of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Laney College & Head of Bay Area AI Center of Excellence

Tuan Nguyen is a visionary academic leader and the Chair of the Artificial Intelligence Department at Laney College. He is a founding leader of the Bay Area AI Center of Excellence (BAAICoE), where he supports AI curriculum design and development, and workforce strategy across 28 Bay Region colleges.

Tuan is also one of the co-chairs for the statewide Artificial Intelligence and Generative Artificial Intelligence Technologies Caucus at the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges (ASCCC), where he shares AI experiences and supports resolutions to bring AI to the statewide awareness. He has been a leader in moving and positioning colleges and California at the forefront of the revolutionary “AI Era” and its implementation process.
